About the Artist

I have been an artist since someone first shoved a crayon into my tiny hands
and asked for a picture. We can only hope that I've improved since those early days.
My mother use to say I was going to be an animator for Disney someday, which is ironic as it's
all computer now. None of my work is done on the computer, nor is it touched
up on the computer, which is why the digital photos of my work are not quite colour true. Unfortunately.
I didn't go to art school, and I'm mostly self-taught, every art teacher I ever had
made me less than interested at pursuing an education in my favourite hobby.
Instead, I went to sea. I was a sailor for three years, and I still am at heart,
and someday the siren call of the sea may cal me back. These influences can be seen here,
as well as my love of the contrast between light and dark, and my weakness for noses.
I was born and raised on the East Coast, and currently live in Colorado.
